Got Hands is a boxing speed test for iPhone made by Alma Data. This policy explains what we collect and why. Short version: your camera video stays on your phone unless you choose to send a clip, and you can delete your account at any time.
What stays on your phone
- Camera frames. Pose detection runs on the device. We never upload video for analysis.
- Your full session history, punches and recordings, stored in the app.
What we store on our servers
- An anonymous account id tied to your device, and your Apple ID identifier if you choose Sign in with Apple.
- Profile details you enter: handle, first name and last initial, age range, stance, school or gym, coarse location (zip, city or a ~5 km area). We do not store precise location.
- Score summaries (count, est. mph, mode, time) and, for ranked rounds only, the pose timeline used to verify the score.
- Clips you choose to send in a callout, belt claim or ghost. Callout media is deleted 30 days after the callout closes.
- Your friends, blocks and reports, and push notification tokens.
- Subscription status from Apple (we never see your card).
How we use it
To run the app: scores, percentiles, belts, callouts, Fight Night brackets, notifications and anti-cheat checks. AI Corner sends only your session numbers (no name, no video) to our AI provider to write coaching notes. We use product analytics to improve the app; analytics wait until your age is confirmed and are limited for fighters under 18.
Fighters 13 to 17
Fighters under 18 show only a first name and last initial, cannot be found by handle, and can only be called out by friends. Under-13s cannot use Got Hands.
Sharing
We don't sell personal data. We share data with service providers that run the app for us (Cloudflare hosting, Apple for purchases and Sign in with Apple, Expo for push delivery, our analytics and AI providers) under contracts that limit their use.
Your choices
- Delete your account in the app: Card › Settings › Account › Delete account. This removes your profile, scores, belts and uploaded media.
- Turn off notifications in iOS Settings.
- Questions or data requests: support@almadata.io.
